Do I need to know how to swim to try scuba diving?

Basic swimming ability and comfort in the water are important for scuba diving. While you don’t need to be a competitive swimmer, you should be able to swim a short distance and float comfortably.

Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory experience that lets you try scuba diving without committing to a full certification course. It’s a great way to see if diving is right for you!

The PADI Open Water course includes knowledge development (online or in-person), confined water sessions (pool training), and four open water dives. It covers all the skills you need to dive safely and confidently.

Most students complete the course in 2–4 days, depending on their availability and learning pace. We offer flexible scheduling to make sure you can learn comfortably and confidently.

We accept Venmo, debit cards, and credit cards. Payment plans may be available—just ask during your consultation.

We offer flexible scheduling seven days a week, with 24/7 availability. We work with you to find times that fit your schedule.

We use several trusted dive sites throughout Georgia, including Lake Lanier and Kraken Springs, with occasional excursions to Florida’s popular spring locations. Dive sites are selected based on your level and course requirements.
